A Room with a Zoo
A Room with a ZOO has been connecting people since 1843 by showing life in the Antwerp ZOO and by being a focal point for people to gather both socially and professionally. A Room with a ZOO can welcome up to 2700 participants for Convention. Because of it´s central location in Europe, it is a perfect meeting destination. The venue is the only convention centre in the world with a ZOO on site: a ZOO with its own award-winning science and research centre, and managed according to the highest standards of animal welfare of EAZA and WAZA, the international associations of zoos which was co-founded by the Antwerp ZOO.

Location
It´s location right next to the Antwerp Central Station, the most beautiful station in the world, guarantees easy accessibility. Especially with two airports nearby. The venue is located in the heart of Antwerp, not even a ten minute walk from the historic city centre. There is a direct rail connection between Antwerp and Brussels International Airport (+/- 75 airlines and +/- 200 direct destinations) and the train journey only takes 34 minutes. Antwerp has high speed rail connections from Paris, Amsterdam, London and Cologne. The city is also easily reachable by car and coach because of its location on a crossroads of European motorways.

How to get there
By road
Various bus operators, like Eurolines and Flixbus, offer international connections between a number of European cities and Antwerp. Of course you can also drive your car to Antwerp.
It is important to know A room with a ZOO is situated in a low emission zone (LEZ). Find out more about the low emission policy of the city of Antwerp here.
Parking
Reserve a parking space in parking Roosevelt on the day of your choice. Use the promotion code zooantwerpen and you´ll only need to pay 5 euro for a full day.
At parking station zoo, visitors of a room with a zoo pay 8 euro for 24 hours. Don´t forget to ask attendants for a room with a zoo to validate your parking ticket!
If you´d rather not drive and park in the busy Antwerp city centre, you can always use the park & ride formula: park easily and for free outside the city and hop on the tram or bus to a room with a zoo.
By train
A room with a zoo is located next to the famous Antwerp central station. This station is considered to be one of the most beautiful stations worldwide with both national and international connections. Thanks to its central location in Europe, connection times to major cities are short and comfortable. Antwerp has high speed rail connections with Paris, Amsterdam, London and cologne. By air
Visitors flying to Brussels international airport profit from a direct train connection to Antwerp central station. Brussels international airport has about 75 airlines with over 200 destinations. There is also a smaller airport nearby; the Antwerp airport. This is located only fifteen minutes outside the city centre and offers direct flights to and from London.
